The Elusive Seagulls of Pomponio Beach in Fog

If you are on the way to the beach in Northern California and suddenly you face a white wall of fog, do not turn back, stick to your plan, reach your destination and you might discover the another side of your favorite beach. Perhaps it will tell you a story of quiet and shadows, of other worldly seagulls hovering between the visible and the ghostly.

Pomponio Beach was a spectacular mix of silence and angry ocean somewhere behind the foggy wall. Sometimes the ocean would break the wall and spilled out its angry foam onto the beach, clawing greedily, taking pieces of sand back deep underwater while uncovering the other life of seagulls in its reflection.
